"Lie down with a dog with fleas, and you'll get fleas!" "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!" Where would you be without all mom's sage advice? Most likely, you'd be lying in a ditch "somewhere" with at least one eye poked out and without clean underwear on.
So, today, the day of the royal wedding, I honor the first queen we all know in life: mom and all her funny, confusing, helpful "momisms."
